The cold draw delivers prominent scents of dark chocolate, barnyard soil, aged cedar, and sharp red pepper. Lighting up brings the quintessential Don Pepin signature: an intense blast of black and red pepper spice through the nose, accompanied by rich espresso and charred oak. Through the middle third, the spice smooths out into layers of dark cocoa, roasted leather, toasted almonds, and sweet cinnamon. The final third finishes robust and rich, leaving a lasting impression of dark timber, dark chocolate, and warming spice on the palate.
