The Enclave Broadleaf was born after AJ Fernandez, inspired by the original Enclave Churchill. Wondered what the blend would taste like wrapped in Connecticut Broadleaf — a leaf he had rarely used in his own portfolio at the time. The result is a cigar that shares little with the original Enclave beyond its name and artwork — this is an entirely reworked blend.
The filler draws from Pueblo Nuevo, Jalapa, and Estelí, paired with a Nicaraguan binder, all dressed in a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

Pre-light & Cold Draw The wrapper carries a rich earthiness, while the foot offers chocolate and coffee notes. The cold draw delivers earth and semi-sweet chocolate.
First Third Immediately after lighting, the cigar opens with sweet earth and mocha, joined by oak, floral spice, and white pepper. As the first third progresses, sweetness increases, pepper pulls back, and the smoke smooths out, with a slight muskiness entering the profile.
Second Third Dark wood remains the dominant note, with baking spice, cream, and chocolate playing a supporting role. The retrohale carries wood and chocolate. Towards the latter half, a crushed rock-like minerality comes through.
Final Third The body moves into the medium-full range and strength builds. Sweetness and pepper return intermittently, while lingering char and musk help maintain interest. Earthiness becomes dominant in the final stretch, though there is enough sweetness to keep things balanced
