The leaf undergoes a prolonged fire-curing process over hardwood logs before being wrapped around an Italian and US Kentucky tobacco filler blend. Supervised by Toscano's Affinatore, the rolled cigars undergo at least 360 days of slow maturation in climate-controlled aging rooms. The American wrapper imparts a slightly sweeter, denser wood-smoke profile that complements the intense pepper and earth underneath.
