PDR AFR 75 Special Harvest Shade Grown Robusto
The PDR AFR-75 Special Harvest Shade Grown Robusto is a collaboration between master blender Abe Flores and tobacco veteran A.J. Fernandez (AFR standing for Abe Flores and Rosenthal / Fernandez). Draped in a silky, golden Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf over a Dominican binder and a complex filler core combining Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Connecticut Broadleaf tobaccos, this medium-bodied Robusto offers exceptional smoothness with rich flavor progression. Presented in an ornate box of 10 cigars, it makes an outstanding choice for morning or afternoon smoking, pairing naturally with a cappuccino, a flat white, or a light pilsner.

The pre-light draw gives off delicate aromas of sweet cream, cedar, and light hay. The initial lighting opens with a smooth, velvety profile highlighting notes of toasted almonds, warm brioche, and gentle creaminess. Moving into the middle section, the body deepens slightly, introducing subtle layers of cedar, white pepper, and light nutmeg on the retrohale. The final third finishes cleanly without heat or bitterness, leaving a refined aftertaste of sweet oak, roasted nuts, and soft leather on the palate.
