Alec Bradley Cigar Company dates back to 1996 and was founded by Ralph and Alan, it was their passion for cigars that encouraged them to invest their life into something they love; founding Alec Bradley Cigar Company.
In 1998 they decided to create their first cigar together, Occidental Reserve. The response proved that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and that pushed them to continue to develop cigars that we and others have been excited to smoke.

BLACK MARKET
"Every month, for over a year, I had been working on blends with a special tobacco from Panama. The unique flavour of Panamanian tobacco, that I so thoroughly enjoy, somehow had to be shared with the world. Creating 18 different Panamanian blends, I smoked the third one in line and knew this was Black Market! The mystery of Panamanian tobacco and the crate like box in which Black Market is displayed illustrates this cigar’s journey."

As with the rest of the Black Market cigars, it is made in Tobacos de Oriente in Danli, Honduras. The Black Market blend is a mixture of Panamanian and Honduran fillers with a Sumatran binder and Nicaraguan wrapper.

This blend is celebrated for its "shadowy" profile—shifting between dark, savory notes and bright, aromatic spices.
First Third: Opens with a rich earthiness and a distinct black pepper spice. Within the first inch, a creamy cocoa note begins to surface, creating a "Mexican hot chocolate" sensation.
Second Third: The Panamanian tobacco makes its presence known with a unique, floral sweetness and notes of dried plum. This is balanced by the Sumatra binder, which adds a layer of cinnamon and sweet cedar.
