Gatekeeper Robusto Single Cigar
The Gatekeeper is celebrated for its "smooth-yet-spicy" transition, offering a refined European-style palate with Nicaraguan muscle.
First Third: The cigar opens with a sophisticated cedar and baking spice profile. There is a distinct red pepper zing on the retrohale that is balanced by a creamy vanilla sweetness.
Second Third: The profile shifts toward a savory nuttiness. Notes of leather, roasted almonds, and cocoa become dominant. The smoke texture is notably thick and velvety.
Final Third: The strength builds into the "Full" territory. Expect a robust finish of dark espresso, earth, and a lingering toasty oak flavor. The sweetness of the wrapper prevents the finish from becoming overly dry.
