Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, this no age statement Dalmore then spends a further five years in different Californian red wines casks which have been hand selected by Richard Paterson who is marking fifty years in the industry.
Finished in casks which previously held a different variety of grapes - Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon which each provide different quantities to the final, complex Dalmore Quintessence whisky.

Nose: Black forest fruits with marmalade and honeycomb.
Palate: More fruits, tropical as ginger and sun dried raisins also feature throughout the palate.
Finish: Cassis, orange, fresh baked banana.
