Villiger 1492 Short Perfecto - Single Cigar
First Third: The cigar begins with an exceptionally soft, clean, and gentle introduction. Because of the narrow tapered foot, the initial puffs deliver a focused stream of sweet cedar, warm field straw, and a mild floral aroma. The retrohale is completely smooth, offering zero sharp pepper bite.
Second Third: As the burn line hits the widest section of the barrel, the profile softens and broadens. A velvety, creamy texture blankets the palate, introducing complex notes of roasted almonds, warm baking spices, and a touch of sweet cream that balances the light wood backbone.
Final Third: Tapering back down toward the head, the flavor profile stays remarkably accessible and clean without gathering bitter core oils. Accents of dry oak, light leather, and a faint hint of black tea dominate the finish, leaving a brief, crisp, and refreshing aftertaste.
